Fanuc founder Inaba, king of industrial robots, dead at 95 – Nikkei Asia


In 1972, Fujitsu Fanuc was established as a spinoff of Fujitsu, with Inaba as handling director. With its primary base in the town of Oshino, Yamanashi Prefecture, Fanuc was instilled with Inabas distinct management style, which colored whatever from research and advancement to production. With the destruction triggering supply-chain disruptions, Inaba solitarily stated that Fanuc would “meet its supply obligations without hold-up.
