BIM and Digital Design: A Closer Take A Look At How Mass Wood goes from Factory to Building Website

It integrates two approaches; Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly. In each of the design phases, the entire style team is involved, including those accountable for the manufacture of parts or those in charge of assembly; these disciplines should be in-depth and distinct. In this task, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) was intensively utilized to support the analysis of design and construction amongst the numerous teams in this complex job. The VDC design helped with preparation and communication in numerous aspects of the pre-construction, construction, and design phases, since it provided an extensive, precise, and extremely in-depth representation of the construction.In the case of this task, as described here, a VDC model was developed from the beginning of the project, covering all building elements from the structure to the interior surfaces to the electrical and mechanical systems.
